Minimizing soaring food costs

KINGSTON — The average Canadian household will spend up to $345 more on food in 2016, according to the annual Food Price Report. That was before the Canadian dollar tanked, and, not surprisingly, higher import prices are inevitably passed on to you, the consumer.
